Protection Training – Master Level (12 Weeks)

Protection Training is a 12-week advanced program designed for dogs and handlers who are ready to move beyond obedience into controlled, purpose-driven protection work.

​

This is not a beginner class and not for casual pet owners. Protection training requires the right temperament, strong foundations, and responsible handling. Our focus is on developing clear-headed, stable, and obedient protection dogs — not reactive or unpredictable ones.

Control always comes before power.

Prerequisites Required​

​

To ensure safety and success, all dogs must complete:

​

• Level I Basic Obedience

• Level II Advanced Off-Leash Obedience

• Puppy Prey Drive Development

​

These foundations confirm the dog has the obedience, engagement, and drive needed to responsibly enter protection work.

• Training is tailored to each dog’s temperament and natural ability, and may include:

• Controlled protection drive development

• Obedience under pressure

• Handler control and communication

• Confidence building in challenging scenarios

• Clear “on/off” command structure

• Stability and neutrality when not working

• Protection is about discipline and clarity — not aggression.

Graduation & Recognition​

Your pup graduates after demonstrating reliable control, responsiveness, and proper execution of protection exercises.

Graduates earn their K9 Safety University Master Degree, representing the highest level of training offered.
